Terms of Service
By creating an account and playing on DarkCore, you agree to the following rules and conditions. Violation may result in permanent removal from the server without prior notice.

General Rules
§ 1.1
These Terms of Service apply to all players, regardless of status, donation history or playtime. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse.
§ 1.2
The administration reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication. It is the player's responsibility to stay informed.
§ 1.3
Respect all other players. Harassment, hate speech, racism, sexism or any form of discrimination in any communication channel is strictly prohibited.
§ 1.4
Player names, guild names and character names must not contain offensive, obscene or politically provocative content.
§ 1.5
Spamming any in-game chat channel, the website or Discord with repetitive, advertisement or flood messages is forbidden.

Account Rules
§ 2.1
Each player is allowed to register and own a maximum of 3 accounts. Multi-accounting beyond this limit is prohibited.
§ 2.2
You are solely responsible for the security of your account. Never share your password with anyone, including players claiming to be staff members.
§ 2.3
The administration will never ask for your password under any circumstances, in any channel.
§ 2.4
Selling, buying or transferring accounts between players is strictly forbidden. Accounts found to be traded will be permanently banned.
§ 2.5
You must provide a valid and accessible email address during registration. It is used for account recovery and important notifications.
§ 2.6
Attempting to access, modify or compromise another player's account by any means is a serious violation and will result in a permanent ban.

Game Conduct
§ 3.1
Exploiting bugs, glitches or unintended game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage is forbidden. All discovered bugs must be reported to the administration immediately.
§ 3.2
Kill stealing — intentionally attacking a monster that another player is clearly fighting in order to steal their kill or experience — is prohibited.
§ 3.3
Deliberately blocking spawn points, NPC pathways or game zones to interfere with other players' gameplay is not allowed.
§ 3.4
AFK farming is permitted within reason. However, using macros, scripts or any automation tools to simulate active play is strictly forbidden.
§ 3.5
Guild wars and PvP are a core part of the MU experience and are encouraged. However, targeted griefing — repeatedly killing the same player with no competitive purpose — is not tolerated.
§ 3.6
Impersonating an administrator, game master or any official staff member is strictly prohibited.

Prohibited Software
Zero Tolerance
§ 4.1
The use of any third-party software that provides an unfair advantage — including but not limited to speed hacks, damage hacks, teleport hacks, item duplication exploits, map hacks or memory editors — results in an immediate and permanent ban.
§ 4.2
Bots, auto-clickers, macro programs and any tool that automates gameplay actions are forbidden. This includes hardware macro devices.
§ 4.3
Any attempt to modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the game client, server files or any part of the platform will be met with a permanent ban and may be subject to legal action.
§ 4.4
Distributing, sharing or advertising prohibited software to other players is equally punishable regardless of whether the person used it themselves.

Trade & Economy
§ 5.1
All in-game trades are made at the players' own risk. The administration does not mediate or reverse in-game transactions under any circumstances.
§ 5.2
Scamming other players — obtaining items, zen or services through deception, false promises or manipulation — is a punishable offense.
§ 5.3
Trading in-game items or currency for real money, external services or anything outside the game is prohibited and may result in a permanent ban.
§ 5.4
Price manipulation through monopolizing the in-game market with clearly abusive pricing is subject to review by the administration.

Donations
§ 6.1
All donations are voluntary contributions to support the server. They are not purchases of a product or service in the traditional sense.
§ 6.2
Donations are non-refundable once processed. By donating, you acknowledge that you are supporting server operations and not entitled to a refund.
§ 6.3
Chargebacks or payment disputes filed against the server will result in an immediate permanent ban and forfeiture of all in-game assets.
§ 6.4
In the event of a server wipe or reset, donated credits or items may be reset along with all other player data. No compensation is guaranteed.
§ 6.5
Donor status does not exempt any player from these Terms of Service. Rules apply equally to all players regardless of contribution.

Punishments
Warning
Issued for minor first offenses. Serves as an official notice that the behavior must stop immediately.
Mute
Temporary restriction from all chat channels. Applied for spam, harassment or offensive language.
Temporary Ban
Account suspended for a set period (hours to days). Applied for repeated or moderately severe violations.
Permanent Ban
Account permanently removed. Applied for hacking, cheating, account trading, chargebacks or extreme conduct violations.
§ 7.1
The administration reserves the right to apply any punishment at their own discretion based on the severity of the violation. Not all offenses will follow a linear progression.
§ 7.2
Ban appeals may be submitted through official support channels. Appeals are reviewed at the administration's discretion and are not guaranteed to be overturned.

Administration Rights
§ 8.1
The administration team has the final say on all matters related to the server, its rules and any disputes between players.
§ 8.2
The server may be taken offline for maintenance, updates or unforeseen circumstances at any time without prior notice or compensation.
§ 8.3
The administration is not responsible for any data loss resulting from technical failures, server wipes or unforeseen events.
§ 8.4
Attempting to threaten, blackmail or publicly defame the administration team or the server is a bannable offense.
§ 8.5
Staff members will never ask for your password, personal information or payment details. If someone claiming to be staff does so, report it immediately.
